The Lakes Distillery is a distillery located in an old Victorian farmhouse on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake in the Lake District National Park, which started production in December 2014. It was officially opened by Princess Anne on 22 July 2015. Already in 2019, an expansion plan was announced to double the production capacity.
