Informations: This bottling of an Mackmyra was matured in ex-Bourbon casks and finished in Rotspon barrique casks at Heinrich von Have, the oldest winery and spirits manufacturer in Hamburg.

Distillery: Mackmyra: Mackmyra Svensk Whisky was opened in an old mill in 1999 and moved to a new facility in 2011. As a special feature, the whisky is matured in special 30-litre casks, some of which are stored in very unusual places.
Country: Sweden: Sweden has only had something like a whisky distillery since 1999. There are now a few more, but apart from Mackmyra, they all play only a minor role.
