Informations: This bottling of a 21-year-old whisky by Chivas Brothers was specially released for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. The name is reminiscent of the 21 shot salute from Tower of London. The colour of the porcelain decanter (red, green, blue) reflects the colours of the precious stones of the Crown Jewels.

The bottle neck was sealed with parafilm.

Distillery: Chivas Brothers: Chivas Brothers Ltd, part of the Pernod Ricard Group since 2001, was founded in Aberdeen in 1801 by brothers James and John Chivas.

There is hardly a week that goes by in which there is no news about another new distillery being built or the reopening of a distillery that has been closed for a long time.
