This bottling of a 22-year-old Jura was bottled in honour of master distiller Willie Cochrane, who has taken well-deserved retirement after 39 years. It is his last bottling and has been finished in Pinot Noir casks.
The current distillery is located in Craighouse, was built from 1958 onwards and started operations in 1963. Legally, however, whisky has been distilled on Jura since 1810.
