This single cask bottling of a 15-year-old Glentaucher single malt was produced by the independent bottler Best Dram. The whisky was distilled in 2002, matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel and was bottled in individually numbered bottles in 2017.
The Glentauchers distillery is located between Keith and Rothes and was built in 1898. Its name means valley of the wind and it is probably one of the lesser known distilleries in Scotland. Almost the entire production is used for blends.
