Informations: This bottling of a 7-year-old Penderyn single malt was produced by the Scotch Malts Whisky Society under the name Welsh Cobbler Sherry Cocktail. The whisky was distilled in 2013, matured in a second-fill ex-Oloroso sherry butt and was bottled in 637 bottles.

Distillery: Penderyn: Penderyn is a distillery in Wales in the village of Penderyn, Rhondda Cynon Taf, in the Cynon Valley, and was founded in 2000 as the Welsh Whisky Company. The whisky sold from 2004 was the first whisky to be produced in Wales for over a century.
Country: England: England, unlike its northern neighbour Scotland, is not very well known for its whisky, although there were distilleries in London, Liverpool and Bristol until the late 19th century. It was not until the early 2000s that new distilleries began to be built, and since then the production of English whisky has experienced an upswing.
