Informations: This bottling of a 5-year-old Octomore single malt as an original bottling of the distillery from the 6th series was produced as Edition 6.2 Travel Retail Exclusive. The whisky is heavily peated (167ppm), matured in ex-limousin casks and was bottled at cask strength in 18,000 bottles in 2013.

Distillery: Octomore: Octomore refers to a range of whiskies from the Bruichladdich distillery. They are characterised by very strong peaty flavours with record-breaking phenolic content and unmistakable Islay influence and are bottled undiluted.
Region: Islay: Islay is the most famous of the Scotch whisky islands. It is often referred to as the queen among them. The majority of Islay's single malts have a wonderfully peaty, smoky, strong flavour - flavours for which Islay whisky is so loved.
Country: Scotland: Scotland and Scotch whisky is a global trend, a development that has led to a flourishing whisky scene in Scotland. There is hardly a week that goes by in which there is no news about another new distillery being built or the reopening of a distillery that has been closed for a long time.
