This single cask bottling of a Kavalan whisky was produced in the Solist series. The whisky was stored in an ex-wine cask and was bottled at cask strength in 2021 with 205 individually numbered bottles.

The construction of the Kavalan Distillery as the first private distillery in Taiwan begins in April 2005. After only 9 months of construction, most of the buildings are completed in December 2005. Whisky is produced there from 11.03.2006.
Taiwan is now well known for its versatile whiskies, although it was not until the year 2000 that the whisky industry began to develop in earnest. The climate is not necessarily ideal and leads to faster evaporation of the alcohol, but tropical maturation has actually been turned into an advantage.
