This bottling of a Mackmyra single malt as an original distillery bottling was produced in the Warehouse Edition 2017 series under the name Skogslagret. The whisky matured in a woodland area in ex-bourbon casks and fresh American oak casks.
Mackmyra Svensk Whisky was opened in an old mill in 1999 and moved to a new facility in 2011. As a special feature, the whisky is matured in special 30-litre casks, some of which are stored in very unusual places.
