Informations: This single cask bottling of an Amrut single malt was produced by the independent bottler Blackadder in the Raw Cask series especially for The Nectar Belgium. The whisky was finished in an ex-rum cask from Guadeloupe and was bottled at cask strength in 2016 with 174 individually numbered bottles.

Distillery: Amrut: Amrut is an Indian spirits company which was founded in 1948 by Shri J.N. Radhakrishna. Today the company owns 3 distilleries and several bottling plants, the main distillery is located in Kambipura, 20 kilometres from Bangalore and was built in 1987.
Country: India: India is one of the largest whisky producers in the world, whisky is by far the most popular spirit in the whole country. Most products are produced on the basis of molasses and are therefore not allowed to be sold as whisky in Europe. However, there are also a growing number of high-quality whiskies based on barley, which is grown in northern India. Brands like Amrut and Paul John are now also known and popular in Europe.
