Informations: This bottling of an 18-year-old Yamazaki single malt as an original bottling of the distillery was produced as a 2017 special bottling, the enclosed heavy wooden box is made of Mizunara oak from old casks, the label of the bottle is made of special washi paper. The whisky matured for at least 18 years (some portions are up to 50 years old) in Japanese Mizunara oak casks.

Distillery: Yamazaki: Yamazaki is a distillery of the Suntory Group from Japan, which was opened in 1923 by Torii Shinjiro as the first malt whisky distillery in Japan.
Country: Japan: The whisky from Japan is like its makers. At first glance, reserved, respectful and polite. On closer inspection, however, enormously profound and multi-layered. Japanese whisky is the result of perfected craftsmanship. Many whiskies from Japan carry exotic fruity aromas and a floral bouquet in front of them.
