Bunnahabhain is a distillery near Port Askaig on the Isle of Islay, Scotland, founded in 1881 by James Ford, James Greenlees and William Robertson at the mouth of the Margadale. It was owned by Highland Distillers (The Edrington Group) until 2003, when they sold it when it was threatened with closure.
