Informations: This bottling of a Franconian single malt from the Schwane distillery was produced by the independent bottler Weinroman Berlin as Batch No. 5 of the series Tiere im Rausch - die Bulldogge. The whisky was distilled in 2009, matured in a first-fill Sauternes cask and was bottled at cask strength in 2020 with 381 individually numbered bottles.

Distillery: Schwane Destillerie: Schwane Distillerie is a distillery on the Schwane estate in Volkach in Franconia.
Country: Germany: As of 2017, there are already more than 150 distilleries in Germany producing German whisky. Most distilleries produce clear brandies and use whisky production as a niche and side business. Whisky output is at a very low level of sometimes only a few thousand bottles a year depending on the distillery.
