This bottling of a Slyrs single malt as an original bottling of the distillery was produced in the Single Cask series. The whisky was distilled in 2013, matured in an ex-Oloroso sherry cask and was bottled at cask strength in 2018 in 630 individually numbered bottles.
As of 2017, there are already more than 150 distilleries in Germany producing German whisky. Most distilleries produce clear brandies and use whisky production as a niche and side business. Whisky output is at a very low level of sometimes only a few thousand bottles a year depending on the distillery.
