The MacDuff distillery is located in the far east of Speyside opposite Banff on the River Deveron near the Moray Firth, founded in 1958 in the whisky boom after the end of the Second World War by the Glen Deveron Distillers Limited of three Glasgow gentlemen: Brodie Hepburn (who was also involved with Deanston and Tullibardine), George Crawford and Marty Dyke.
