This bottling of a Mackmyra single malt without age statement was released in honour of the 40th anniversary of the heavy metal band Motörhead, here as Batch No.7. The whisky matured in the darkest corners of the warehouse in ex-bourbon casks.
Mackmyra Svensk Whisky was opened in an old mill in 1999 and moved to a new facility in 2011. As a special feature, the whisky is matured in special 30-litre casks, some of which are stored in very unusual places.
